Karela fry

#myrecipe This my childhood favourite dish. My mother used to make this. This is a very good combination with sambar

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 people

Cooking time :

1 HR 39 minutes
500 grms

karela

1 glass

buttermilk

2 tablespoons

Chilli powder

1 tablespoons

coriander powder

1 teaspoon

cumin powder

1 table spoon

salt

5 tablespoons

oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Peel off the skin of karela and slit them in the middle.

* Step 2

Boil in the buttermilk for 5 to 10 minutes

* Step 3

Mix all abovementioned spices and stuff all karela

* Step 4

Add oil in the pan and add all karelas into the oil.

* Step 5

Cook with lid on. After 10 minutes of cooking take off the lid

* Step 6

Fry untill golden brown and serve hot

* Step 7

Can be preserved for 2 to 3 days
