Mango Phirni

#colouryellow Mango Phirni is an extended version of the traditional phirni recipe which is flavored with mango pulp. It is an ideal dessert recipe during mango season. Serve mango phirni as a dessert after any north Indian meal.

Ingredient

1 liter

Milk

1/2 cup

Rice

1 1/2 cup

Mango Pulp

1 teaspoon

Cardamom Powder

2 tablespoon

Chopped nuts

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Firstly soaked rice for 30 minutes.

* Step 2

Discard the water and blend rice to a coarse paste and keep aside.

* Step 3

Boil milk in a pan and stir occasionally and simmer for 10 minutes.

* Step 4

When milk getting thicker then add rice and stir continuously.

* Step 5

Boil the milk till the rice get cook completely. Further, add sugar and mix well.

* Step 6

Add cardamom powder and chopped nuts.

* Step 7

Mix well and leave for 20 minutes to allow phirni to cool completely. Now add mango pulp and mix well.

* Step 8

Serve chilled and garnish with chopped nuts.
