Salmon Chan Chan Yaki
A simple dish that can be made quickly in the microwave. You can also steam or stir-fry on the stove top. Use medium power (700W) to cook to retain moisture in the fish. The marinade also helps keep the salmon from drying out when cooking in the microwave.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Slice salmon diagonally into 3-4 pieces for easier cooking in the microwave.
* Step 2
Mix all marinade ingredients. Coat salmon with marinade and leave for at least 30 mins.
* Step 3
Place half a bag of beansprouts in a microwavable bowl. Then top with salmon. Add in remaining beansprouts. Pour in any remaining marinade. Microwave on medium (700W) for 6 mins. Let it stay in the oven for another 4 mins before serving.
* Step 4
Option to add spring onions and shimichi powder before serving.
