Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Brown chicken pieces gently in heated oil. Remove from pan.

* Step 2

Add onion and garlic to pan and fry for few mins. Add bacon and rice.

* Step 3

Fry rice, stirring, until it turns white. Remove from heat.

* Step 4

Ensure that all ingredients are ready and reserve few prawns with heads.

* Step 5

Arrange all ingredients on the rice with peas and pieces of chicken.

* Step 6

Tuck mussels well down in pan and put reserved prawns on top.

* Step 7

Add saffron and its liquid to stock, pour over ingredients, season, cover with foil and lid.

* Step 8

Simmer on top of stove or in oven at 180 for 20 to 25 mins.

* Step 9

Do not lift lid during cooking time.
