1 cup

ghee

1 spoon

gram flour

1& 1/2 cup

cup milk

1 pinch

Saffron

1 cup

Sugar

3/4 cup

Khoya

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soak yellow mung lentils for 5 to 6 hrs then grind it in mixer to make a fine paste.

* Step 2

Heat ghee in a non stick pan then add gram flour & mix well.

* Step 3

In same pan add mung daal paste & stir continuously at low flame.

* Step 4

Cook till it turns golden brown & changes it frangnance too.

* Step 5

Take another pan heat milk then add sugar..Cook till sugar dissolves completely.

* Step 6

Take separate small bowl add warm milk in it add saffron & orange colour & stir continuously to form a good orange colour then mix into boiling milk & sugar.

* Step 7

Now it's time to add milk & sugar in mung daal..Mix all ingredients well & cook few minutes more.

* Step 8

Add cardamom powder then again mix well.

* Step 9

Now switch off the flame & add khoya then stir continuously through spoon mix well.

* Step 10

Wait for few minutes mixture gets cool then take small portion on ur hand & give shape of modak or ladoo.

* Step 11

Use cashews for garnishing.
