Steamed Lettuce Roll

#tricolor22 #green If you have some fresh lettuce, and want to make some special healthy dish with it, try this easy and delicious recipe. This healthy roll is so fresh,crunch, juicy and delicious that even your kids will love to have them as snack.

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 rolls

Cooking time :

1 tablespoon

Olive oil

1/4 teaspoon

mixed Italian herb

to taste

Salt

2 tablespoon

Pomegranate pearls

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a pan and add in chopped onion and chopped red chilli.

* Step 2

Saute until onion becomes soft and then add in chopped vegetables. You can use other vegetables like capsicums, green peas, sweet corn also.

* Step 3

Stir well in medium heat and add in spices and salt.

* Step 4

Cover and cook until the veggies become little soft.

* Step 5

Next add in grated paneer. Mix well. At last sprinkle chopped coriander and remove from heat.

Also add in fresh pomegranate carnels. Stuffing is ready now to use.

Take individual lettuce leaves and steam each leaf in a steamer without lead for about 10-15 seconds. This will help to roll the leaves nicely. But don't over steam the leaves to loose their crunchiness.

Take one leaf, place some prepared stuffing to one side of the leaf and roll carefully. Place in a serving dish.

* Step 9

Like this make all the rolls and serve them with a dip made of soya sauce, honey and chilli flakes.
