Orange flavoured Chocolate Idli

Chocolate Idli is a very easy and quick to prepare sweet dish. It is an idli shaped recipe that we prepare from All-purpose flour , rava and some cocoa powder.I made this healthy dish with little twist by adding fresh orange juice to my idlis. They came out very delicious. Also served those idli with a simple chocolate sauce. I am sure your kids are going to love this healthy sweet dish.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Take buttermilk, sugar in a bowl and whisk till creamy and sugar is melted.
* Step 2
Now add in oil and whisk well.
* Step 3
Add in sooji, 1 pinch of salt and mix well. Set aside for 30 mins.
* Step 4
After resting time, add in fresh orange juice and mix well.
* Step 5
Sieve together maida, cocoa powder,baking powder and baking soda.
* Step 6
Fold in Maida mixrure to the wet mixture.
* Step 7
Add in 2 tablespoon of milk or as required to adjust the consistency of the batter.
* Step 8
The batter should be thick like regular idli batter.
* Step 9
Now spoon this in a well greased idli plate and steam for 8-10 mins.
* Step 10
Now remove and let it cool for a min.Use a knife to transfer to dish.
* Step 11
They came out very soft and fluffy.
* Step 12
Make a chocolate syrup by mixing icing sugar cocoa powder and orange juice.
* Step 13
Serve this delicious and healthy chocolate idli with chocolate sauce.
