Minced pork rice (lo-bah-png)
Minced pork rice is a Taiwanese style rice dish commonly seen throughout Taiwan that many people enjoy local cuisine :)
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Dice the pork into 1~1.5 cm (or already minced pork is ok), and chop red onion and garlic.
* Step 2
Add oil in the pot, then put chopped red onion and garlic in, don't over cook to burnt the red onion, add diced pork in when you smell the fragrance of red onion, cook until the diced pork turn to white, then add soy sauce and cook for getting the fragrance of soy sauce.
* Step 3
Add 5 spice powder, white pepper to cook 1 minute, then add wine, rock sugar, oyster sauce and water, bring it to boil.
* Step 4
Then move all Ingredients from pot into a earthenware cooking pot or stew pot ~~ of course you can use any pot you like :) Add eggs (optional), bring it to boil again, then simmer for an hour, its sauce will get thicker and glossy.
* Step 5
Put some Minced pork and its sauce with cooked vegetables and some chopped shallot on rice, serving hot.
