Ragi & Oats Porridge

Ingredient

Ragi powder

2 tbsp

Oats

1 cup

water

3/4 cup

milk

as needed

Cane sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a pan take 1 cup water, add in ragi powder, oats and stir without any lumps.

* Step 2

Place the pan on medium flame and cook until the porridge thickens stirring in between. Add 3/4 cup milk, stir and cook until it comes to a boil.

* Step 3

Add cane sugar, stir and cook for a minute. (You can add sweetener of your choice, jaggery, or any variety of sugar.)

* Step 4

Transfer to a serving bowl, garnish with chopped almonds and relish it hot.

* Step 5

If using honey, after porridge is cooked as in step 2 transfer porridge to bowl and drizzle with honey and chopped almonds.
