Chicken Chops - Mandya Style

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
To prepare the green paste: In a pan take oil, add in roughly chopped ginger, garlic, onion, green chili and sauté until onions are translucent. Add chopped coriander and pudina leaves and sauté until leaves wilt. Allow it to cool completely.
* Step 2
Transfer the mixture to a mixer jar along with cinnamon, cloves, pepper, coriander powder, fried gram, grated coconut and grind to a fine paste.
* Step 3
To prepare chops: In a pan heat oil. Add in chopped onions, crushed garlic, and sauté until onions are translucent. Add in the cleaned and drained chicken along with salt and turmeric. Sauté until water oozes out from the chicken and dries up.
* Step 4
Add chopped tomatoes and cook until tomatoes soften. Add in prepared paste along with the required amount of water and cook until chicken is cooked completely and the raw smell of the paste is gone. Add in the chopped coriander and pudina leaves and mix well. Switch off the flame.
* Step 5
Serve hot Mandya-style chicken chops with parotta, onion, and lemon slices.
