Sugar free mini Bakewell 🍮 tarts (airfryer)
Made using sugar free icing sugar for the topping and a tsp in the frangipane mix.
Tsp of jam in each pastry.
I substituted the cherry for sultana.
Ingredient

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Preheat the airfryer or just before putting them in.
* Step 2
Flour, salt and butter in a bowl and mix together to form a soft dough.
Roll out using a 8 cm cutter and cut out as many as you can.
* Step 3
I used my silicone cases oiled then put them in and press up to edges.
* Step 4
When there all done put some foil in and fill with baking peas and bake for ten minutes in airfryer 175 c to prebake your pastry.
* Step 5
Then remove foil and beans to cook a further 10 minutes until golden brown and set aside to cool.
* Step 6
To make the filling.
Beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy then whisk the egg followed by the flour, then fold in the ground almonds.
* Step 7
Spoon your jam into cases followed by a tbsp of frangipane mix.
* Step 8
Bake for 12 minutes until golden and springy.
* Step 9
When cooled make up your icing sugar and stick your fruit on top and leave to set for 20 minutes.
* Step 11
Enjoy with a nice cup of tea.
Although sugar free the icing is very sweet.
