#cookpadindia I love this Simple yet delicious Bottlegourd preperation with Sundried Lentil Dumplings or Wadi/ Bodi. If you don't have Wadi/ Bodi or Sundried Lentil Dumplings you can skip it.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat oil and fry the wadia/ Bodi first till it becomes brown in colour, keep it aside. Now in the same oil, add the whole spices, then add the Bottlegourd pieces, smaller the pieces, quickly it will cook and saute for few minutes.

* Step 2

Add salt and turmeric too. Add water and cover and cook till the Bottlegourd becomes soft and mushy. Then add the Fried Bodi / Sundried Lentil Dumplings and cook for about 5 minutes. Put off the flame and let it stand for sometimes before serving. The dumplings will absorb most of the water so adjust accordingly. My is a dry kind, I love it this way.
