Ful Medames- Middle Eastern Fava Beans Dish

Ful Medames is a popular Middle Eastern dish of Fava Beans. The preperation varies in the region, some have it as stew and some smash and have it as dip. The seasoning also varies. This is a simple Dip version in which the cooked Fava Beans is roughly smashed and is not as smooth as hummus.

Ingredient

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat the canned Fava Beans and reduce the water. No need to add salt as it already has.

* Step 2

Then add Garlic paste, grounded Cumin, lemon juice, olive oil and mash it roughly with the back of the spoon. Make a shallow dent in the centre with a spoon and drizzle/ pour olive oil in it.

* Step 3

Garnish with Chopped Parsley. Serve !
