Caramelized Banana with Berries, Kiwi and Sour Cream

#toc1 This Caramelized Banana is a great way to use up Old Banana, the ones whose skins are blackened up but the fruit inside is good, which children on seeing and when told to eat curls up their nose but loves the banana in its new Avatar ! I have used #leftover small variety of Indian banana but you can make use of any Ripe Bananas. You can serve with any fruits available at home but berries would go best with it or any sweet and sour fruits and goes well with Sour Cream, Whipped Cream and Vanilla Ice-cream ( make use of whatever is available at home).

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take brown sugar in a non-stick pan and let it melt and then add the butter, cinnamon stick and anise star and gently swirl the pan and let it cook on low flame. Peel and add in the bananas too and let it cook for about 3-4 minutes and then flip over and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Add in the vanilla essence too and swirl the pan again.

While the bananas are getting caramelized, prepare the plate with fruits. Once done, place the caramelized Banana on the plate, add a dollop of Sour Cream or Vanilla Ice-cream or Whipped Cream and serve it immediately. Enjoy !
