Chicken Fries
#left
Had 2 drumsticks and 3 wings left after deboning the whole chicken lying in the freezer. Had some bread crumbs too made from leftover dried breads and leftover egg lying in the fridge after egg washing the pumpkin buns the previous day. So made some Chicken fries.
I generally do two Breadcrumbs coat but since I wanted to finish off the egg and didn't want anymore leftover egg so I did a single coat.
I threw in some chopped green onion too as it was lying excess after garnishing the soup.
Apart from cooking/ frying time, it needs some preparation time and marination time for chicken.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Add in all the ingredients for marination in a bowl along with thawed chicken drumsticks and wings and mix well. Cover with cling wrap & let it sit in the fridge for at least an hour or better overnight.
* Step 2
After this, make the maida ready and put the egg in a larger bowl so that you can comfortably coat the drumsticks and wings. First coat the drumsticks and wings with maida and then coat it with egg.
* Step 3
After that coat it with breadcrumbs (if you want you can do double coat...by coating again with egg and breadcrumbs, it makes the fries more crispier)
* Step 4
Coat all the pieces. Meanwhile heat oil for deep frying. Don't over heat the oil. Put the pieces....do not overcrowd the oil....I fried the wings and the drumsticks separately in two batches. Fry on low flame so that the drumsticks get cooked inside too....it may take about 10 minutes for the drumsticks to get cooked on low flame and less for the wings. Fry till they are golden brown.
* Step 5
Take it out and keep it on a kitchen tissue paper to absorb any extra oil....serve while it's still hot with tomato sauce/ ketchup or your any of your favourite sauce. Bon Appetit!!!!
