Zaalouk with Halloumi

Really tasty and easy to make! You just want to keep dipping in!

Ingredient

Food ration :

2-3 servings

Cooking time :

15 - 20 mins
2 cloves

garlic diced

3 tbsp

olive oil

1 tbsp

cumin

1 tbsp

paprika

1 tsp

sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a large frying pan put in oil,heat and fry of the chopped garlic, whilst it is frying chop the pepper and aubergine!

Add them to the pan and next add the tomatoes.

* Step 3

Now add the spices and herbs, salt and pepper! Stir well! Simmer for 15 minutes until thickened! Give it a quick taste if it’s tart add sugar!

* Step 4

Slice the Halloumi and in a small frying pan add olive oil heat it high and fry each side until golden.

Serve with crusty bread and dip in!
