Swiss chard stems moutabbal/Dip

Suitable for #vegan An easy way to cook the stems of the chard. We usually make it in Lebanon along with swiss chard pies as a dip. It’s similar to baba gannouj but quicker and easier to make. #easyrecipe #Lebanesefood #seasonsupply

Ingredient

15 minute
2 tablespoons

tahini paste

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Boil the stems for 10 minutes (i had rainbow chard which was amazing to add some colors to the dish 🌈)

* Step 2

Drain the cooked stems, rinse with cold water and move to the blender. Add the other ingredients and mix for a few seconds

* Step 3

I prefer not to over blend it because i love the small bits of the chard

* Step 4

Top with olive oil and enjoy it!
