#FM #week3 #namakpara A spicy and savoury snack mainly prepared with wheat flour or all purpose flour. a crunchy ribbon like strips shaped snack is an ideal tea time or evening snack πŸ˜‹ which can be realised with a cup of chai or coffee. it can also be a ideal snack to share with your friends and family during any occasion or celebrations.

Ingredient

Food ration :

6-7 servings

Cooking time :

20-25 minutes
4 tbsp

Semolina

1 tsp

Ajwain

1 tsp

Salt

5 tbsp

Ghee

as per requirement

Water

as required

Oil for frying

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a mixing bowl add all the ingredients and combine the ghee and flour well.

Add water as required to knead a firm dough, cover it a with a damp cloth and rest it for 10 minutes.

* Step 3

Divide the dough into two equal parts, flatten the dough balls and roll into half centimetre thin sheet.

* Step 4

Apply ghee and brush over the dough sheet completely, sprinkle some flour, fold 1/3rd of the dough by overlapping and the remaining 1/3rd over it and press gently.

* Step 5

Roll again and repeat the process.

* Step 6

After the final rolling, cut into Β½ cm strips.

* Step 7

Heat oil for frying and fry on medium low heat until crisp & golden brown.

Serve these tasty snacks with tea.
