#ICF #cookpad An easy and simple South Indian step food recipe made with boiled rice and a generous amount of lemon flavors. It is one of the frequently made recipes in South Indian with leftover rice and cooks rice πŸ˜‹ for morning breakfast. Yet it can also be served for lunch and dinner with a choice of chutney or spicy curries.

Ingredient

Cooking time :

15-20 minutes
2 tbsp

oil

2 tbsp

peanuts

2 tbsp

cashew

1 tsp

urad dal

1 tsp

chana dal

Pinch

hing

leaves

few Curry

2 tbsp

lemon juice

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Firstly in a large Kadai heat 2 tbsp oil and roast 2 tbsp peanuts.

* Step 2

Also, roast 2 tbsp cashew nuts until it turn golden brown and crunchy. keep the fried peanuts and cashews aside.

* Step 3

In some oil add 1 tablespoon mustard seed, urad dal, chana dal, dry red chili also add 1-inch ginger,2 chilies, pinch thing, and few curry leaves

* Step 4

Splutter the tempering on medium flame

* Step 5

Add in turmeric and saute slightly. Further, add 2 cups cooked rice and salt

* Step 6

Mix well making sure everything is well combined

* Step 7

Also, add 2 tbsp coriander and 2 tablespoons lemon juice mix well

Finally enjoy lemon πŸ‹ rice with roasted papad or chutney πŸ˜‹
