Lauki matar curry

Ingredient

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Keep all ingredients ready.
* Step 2
Heat a kadhai with oil. Splutter cumin seeds. Add chopped onion. Saute till brownish. Next add in the prepared masala.
Put salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and curry powder into the masala paste.
Cook the masala till it leaves oil. Next add into the cooked masala, chopped bottle gourd and soaked white peas. Give a nice mix. Let it be in slow to medium heat for 5 minutes.
Go for occasional mixing.
* Step 3
Finally as flavours of masala gets combined nicely with matar and lauki, transfer it into a pressure cooker. Add water covering the lauki and mater.
Put garam masala. Give a nice gentle mix. Now put the pressure lid and cook for 3-4 whistles at slow heat.
As cooker releases pressure, remove the lid. Put chopped coriander leaves.
(I didn't have so didn't put but you certainly add it.)
* Step 4
Check for consistency, if needed add water as per your preference. Let it be in medium heat for a minute or two. Then switch off and serve!!
Goes well with roti or even rice.
