Palak chicken masala

Addition of greens to chicken adds flavours as well as nutrition. This winter do try adding palak to your chicken masala and you will enjoy this delicious dish with rice/ roti/ paratha/ Naan Do try!! #NVW #Win #Week1 #chicken #palak #green #nonveg

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Start by marinating the cleaned chicken with above-mentioned ingredients. Marinate for 1 hour.

Chop and keep all ingredients ready.

Next heat oil in a kadhai. Splutter cumin seeds. Add chopped garlic. Saute. Next add chopped onions. Saute till brownish. Add ginger garlic paste. Cook till rawness is lost. Next add the marinated chicken. Give a nice mix. Sear at high heat for 5-7 minutes to make chicken juicy.

Next cover and cook. As it almost cooked, add pureed tomato. Mix. Cover and cook. As it's almost cooked, add some water.Cover and let it get cooked till chicken is softened. You get a nice aroma.

Add water as an when needed. Put chopped palak. Mix gently. Need not cook much. Cook without cover at slow to medium heat. If you like more gravy add water. Put sliced onion, tomato and green chillies. Mix well. Let it be on medium heat for some time. Add chopped coriander leaves too. Give a nice mix.

Add garam masala and cooked potato dices. Give a nice gentle mix.

It's ready!! Let it settle for some time. Transfer into serving dish. Garnish with brown toasted garlic. Time to serve!!
