Daliya upma (Broken wheat upma)
Daliya upma is one of the comforting breakfasts and brunch too. It's healthy and tasty.
Adding veggies of your choice in it, makes it colourful. The vegetables will not only uplift the upma's taste, but it will also enhance the nutritional value.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a kadhai roast daliya till it's little brownish and aromatic. Take out and keep aside.
Next heat oil in the kadhai.
Splutter mustard seeds, cumin seeds. Add dry red chillies.
Next add chopped onion, vegetables, green chillies, curry leaves and grated ginger.
* Step 2
Add salt and sambar powder. Mix and cook till vegetables are softened.
* Step 3
Next add water. Let it come to a nice boil.
* Step 4
Now add the roasted daliya and mix well.
* Step 5
Let it come to a boil. Then reduce heat, cover and cook till daliya plumps up.
* Step 6
It's done! Give a nice gentle mix and serve hot with chutney and chai...
