Kaju modak

Ganesh chaturthi and modak are very special!! So this Ganesh chaturthi,try this recipe of making yummy kaju modak #modak #sweet #Ganeshpuja #GCS

Ingredient

Food ration :

4-6 persons

Cooking time :

30 minutes
180 ml

milk

3/4 th cup

sugar

1 tsp

ghee

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a pan put milk powder and milk. Mix well to make it lump free. Now place the pan on slow heat. Cook. As this mixture becomes thicker add cashewnut powder.

* Step 2

Using a whisker mix well. Then add cardamom powder. Mix again with a whisker. Next add ghee and continue mixing. This mixture is continued to be cooked in slow heat. Go for occasional mixing.

When the mixture becomes still thicker, put few drops of pineapple essence. Mix well. When this mixture leaves the sides of the pan, you know the modak mixture is ready...

* Step 4

Cool it down till it's easy to handle. Then grease your palms. Take small portions of the dough and shape them into modak. You can also use mould to shape the modak.

As modaks are ready decorate it with silver wark. Our Prasad is ready!!
