Strawberry vermicelli kheer

Ingredient

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a heavy bottom pan, put ghee, fry the cashews, almonds and walnuts, then fry kishmish slightly. (Take out some and keep for garnish). Into the same dry fruits fried pan, add the strawberry flavoured milk and pounded cardamoms. Keep the flame slow. Let the milk get boiled slowly. Add a pinch of salt. In another heated pan, put the roasted vermicelli and ghee. Although the vermicelli is roasted, but if you fry it little bit with ghee it gives a nice nutty flavour.

So, as vermicelli gives a nice aroma, put the fried vermicelli into the boiling milk.

Stir and allow the vermicelli to cook. As vermicelli plumps up and becomes soft, add sugar as needed. Let it dissolve. Now you know it's done. Cook till the time you get your preferred consistency. Switch the flame off and transfer it into a dish. Garnish with the remaining dry fruits. Let it come to room temperature. You can offer it to the Lord now. Enjoy the festival...
