#toc4 #cookpadindia As we know, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. A healthy and fill-in breakfast keeps away the hunger. Appe preparation is easier in no time. I prepared appam with rava and rice flour as main ingredients and include grated carrots along with other ingredients. The appaes are delicious and flavourful.

Ingredient

rice flour

2.5 Tbsp

curd

1 Tbsp

oil

1/6 tsp

hing powder

1 tsp

urad dal

1/3 cup

water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take rava, rice flour and curd in a container. Add water to make a thick batter.

* Step 2

Heat oil in a tadka pan. Roast mustard seeds, hing, curry leaves and urad dal till it's aromatic. Mix this tadka with the batter.

Mix green chilli and grated carrot. Then add fruit salt and a little water to activate eno. Mix the batter rigorously.

* Step 4

Drop 1.5 tsp batter to each greased whole of the appe pan. Cove and cook both the sides for 3-4 minutes on low flame or till done.

* Step 5

Serve delicious and heathy appe with chilli chutney.
