Basa Fish Curry

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Marinate the cleaned fish pieces with the ingredients of marination, stated above. Set aside for an hour.
* Step 2
Heat mustard oil in a pan. Fry the marinated fish pieces from both the sides.
* Step 3
Heat oil in a kadhai. Add poncho phoran and allow to splutter. Add and fry the onions till translucent.
* Step 4
Add ginger and garlic and fry on low flame.
* Step 5
Then add chopped tomatoes, fry. Add the dry powder spices like cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt.
* Step 6
Saute on low heat till aroma come and oil get separate from cooked masala.
* Step 7
Add two cups of water and bring to boil. Then add fried fish, adjust the seasoning, cover and cook for two minutes.
* Step 8
Basa fish curry is ready to serve with steamed rice.
