Buttered Braunschweiger and Pickled Onions

The richness of the Braunschweiger, the sweet, tart, and bit of spice from the onion, then the mayonnaise mustard mixture, made this into a very delicious sandwich!!! Definitely do this again for sure!!!!!

Ingredient

2 slices

Braunschweiger

2 tablespoons

mayonnaise

1/2 teaspoon

stone ground mustard

2 tablespoons

butter

2 slices

bread

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Slice the onion. Slice the Braunschweiger, and melt the butter in a skillet.

* Step 2

Add the Braunschweiger and Sauté splashing the butter on top as it cooks. 2 minutes per side. When done move to a plate.

* Step 3

Add the onions to the skillet and sauté for 3 minutes.

Mix the mustards and mayonnaise. Add the mayonnaise mixture to the slices of bread.

* Step 5

Stack the Braunschweiger and onions on the bread. Serve I hope you enjoy!!!
