Urad Dal Khichdi
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds and asafoetida. Saute for 30 seconds. Add the whole garam masala and saute in medium heat till aroma came.
* Step 2
Add turmeric powder, chopped green chilli and grated ginger. Fry for 15 seconds and mix green peas, urad dal and rice. Add chilli powder and salt. Mix well and add
1 and 1/2 cup water.
* Step 3
Close the cooker. Cook in high flame for 1 whistle. Let the pressure release naturally.
Serve hot urad dal khichdi with curd and/curry.
