Brussel Sprouts, with Bacon, onions and a Balsamic Vinegar
I had Brussel Sprouts at Brew Brothers and really liked them... So I tried to find a recipe that was similar. I couldn't find a recipe, so I stole parts of recipes and created one.
Ingredient
Food ration :
4 servings
Cooking time :
30 mins
Cooking instructions
* Step 3
Combine 2 cups of Balsamic Vinegar and 3/4 cup of Brown Sugar in a small pan. Set on medium heat.
* Step 4
Mixture should be on a soft boil. Stirring occasionally. You want the mixture to reduce to the point that once you put a spoon in the pan, the mixture coats the spoon. Allow to cool. This is when it will thicken and become a glaze.
* Step 6
Cut bacon and onions into small pieces and put in skillet to cook.
* Step 7
Pull out of the skillet and set on a paper towel.
* Step 9
Soak in a large bowl of salt water for about 30 minutes.
* Step 10
Cut brown ends off and length wise
* Step 11
Toss in the skillet used for the bacon and onions and saute until browned
* Step 12
Put Brussel Sprouts on a foiled lined pan
* Step 13
Add the bacon and onions to the mixture and bake for 30 minutes
* Step 14
Drizzle Balsamic Drizzle over Sprouts.
