Elderberry syrup

Natural remedy for colds/ flu and to boost the immune system. Can be taken as a syrup or used to make an infusion. Do not eat the berries raw!!

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Put the elderberries, water and spices in a pan. Bring to the boil and then simmer on low for about 45mins.

* Step 2

Strain the mix into a jug, mash the berries to get the most juice out. Leave to cool.

* Step 3

When it’s cool, add the honey/ agave. Keep in an airtight container in the fridge.
