Honey Lemon Aiyu
An easy Taiwanese summer dessert known as Honey Lemon Aiyu. It is also called Fon Mi Nin Mon Aiyu. Fon Mi means Honey and Nin Mon is Lemon. Aiyu is a jelly made from seeds of awkeotsang creeping fig in Taiwan, but since the seeds are not allowed to be brought into the US, the only way to enjoy this jello is from a can. If you like boba tea, aiyu is actually one of the popular topping that you might be familiar with.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Open the can of Aiyu and drain off the liquid. Cut up the Aiyu jelly into bite size.
* Step 2
Dissolve 1 tablespoon of honey in 3 tablespoon of Lukewarm water. If you want it sweeter, then you can dissolve 2 to 4 tablespoon of water.
* Step 4
In a bowl, add cut up Aiyu jelly, ice, honey water, and 2 to 3 teaspoon of lemon. You can add more honey or lemon to your liking. Serve cold and enjoy.
