Sugar free beetroot halwa
A healthy guilt free sweet dish #sweettooth
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash, peel and grate beet roots.
* Step 2
In a blender add the milk and dates and blend till the dates mix well into the milk.
* Step 3
In a non stick pan take ghee and heat... add the grated beets and cook for around 5 mins.
* Step 4
Add the milk and date mix into the pan. Cover and cook till beets soften and the milk evaporates.
* Step 5
Open the lid and cook till no liquid is left. Add the mixed nuts and cardamom powder and cook for 2 minutes.
* Step 6
Switch off the flame and add the milk powder and mix well till it is well incorporated.
* Step 7
Serve hot or cold and garnish with some more nuts.
