Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First, preheat the oven @175 °, grease a loaf tin with oil, line with butter paper, dust with flour and keep it ready.
* Step 2
Add vinegar to milk and set for 5 minutes till it turns into buttermilk. Then sieve all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
* Step 3
In a separate bowl, whisk/ beat the butter/oil, sugar and buttermilk till fluffy. Then add the essence, colour, orange juice, orange zest and beat again. Then fold in dry ingredients and gently combine without over mixing.
* Step 4
Then fold in tutti fruity and candied orange peel bits. Make the mixture lump free by mixing in only one direction and using cut and fold method. Pour in the prepared tin. Tap 2-3 times. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
* Step 5
Then take out, cover with kitchen towel for 15 minutes. Then serve topped with orange slices and your favourite brew! Enjoy!
