Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First, make a sugar syrup with sugar, cardamom pods, and water till it's thick. Switch off and cool on the counter. Remove the cardamom pods.
* Step 2
Sieve the flours. Add 1 cup ghee and rub it well on the flour. Add the syrup, and knead to a firm and smooth dough.
* Step 3
Divide it into small lemon-sized portions. Take one and using both palms, roll into a long shape. Then twist it to give the suggested shape. Make all the Lyde in a similar way. Keep covered with a cloth.
* Step 4
Then heat the remaining ghee and slow fry in batches till golden brown.
* Step 5
Cool on the counter till crisp. Serve at any time and enjoy!
