Sabudana Paratha/ साबुदाणा पराठा

Happy Ashadhi Ekadashi to all! 🙏🙏Today is one of the most auspicious days of Hindu calendar as this day is celebrated with prayers to Lord Vitthal who is an avatar of lord Vishnu! This day is celebrated with fasting, upawas, chantings, bhajans and prayers. Today , many recipes from sago or sabudana are made. I have prepared paratha from soaked sago. Cooking instructions

* Step 1

First, take a deep bowl. Add the sago and mash well with hands. Then mix in all other ingredients. Add oil and press well.

* Step 2

Mix to a soft dough. Keep it for 10 minutes. Then heat a skillet very hot. Grease with oil

* Step 3

Make big ball sized portions of the sago dough. Press it well on a plate lined with greased butter paper.

* Step 4

Press to a medium sized disc. Then place it in hot skillet. Make small holes in center Pour ghee or peanut oil all around. Cover and roast on both sides till golden.

* Step 5

Serve hot with peanuts chutney, lemon pickle or plain fresh yoghurt.
