I have prepared this delicious sweet with inspiration from my fellow Cookpad author Ms. Sushma Savla. Her original recipe Turkey Semolina Halva , which I recreated was delicious and melt in mouth. I used more raisins as they are liked by all at home. Thank you dear Sushma ji for the yummy recipe. Happy women's day to the wonderful author community.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First, take a pan. Heat a little ghee and lightly roast the raisins and cranberries and take out in a plate. Now, heat the remaining ghee and add the semolina. Roast it on low flame till it turns light brown and gives a pleasant arima.
* Step 2
Side by side, keep water to boil. Add the chopped nuts, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, lemon zest and saffron. Let it boil for a minute to absorb the flavours.
* Step 3
Then gently stir in the roasted rava to the boiling water. Mix till there are no lumps. Cover and cook till the water almost evaporates. Add lemon juice. Mix well and turn off the flame.
* Step 4
Then grease a square or any shaped mold with ghee or oil. Line with greased butter paper. Then arrange the lightly roasted raisins and cranberries at base. Pour the mixture. Press, cover and leave to set for 10 to 15 minutes till it reaches room temperature.
* Step 5
Remove on a serving plate by tapping the mold a few times. Then serve it cut in desired portions. Enjoy.
