#SFR Kathal is particularly used as a meat alternative for its texture and gravy this sabzi can be made both in gravy and dry . Today I made this sabzi little bit dry.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a vessel add 2cups of water add 1tsp oil and 1tsp salt add kathal pieces into this water and boiled it for 5-6 minutes. Then strain the water.keep aside In a kadhai add oil when oil heated add whole spices,asafoetida and dry red Chilli.. saute few seconds then add onion paste. Saute 3-4 minutes.

* Step 2

When onion paste turns golden add kashmiri red Chilli powder and turmeric powder. Mix and cook for a minute. Add ginger garlic paste and slit green chillies. Mix and cook for a minute.

* Step 3

Add tomato paste then add salt and all powder spices mention above. Mix add little water.cover and cook for 4-5 minutes on medium flame

* Step 4

Meanwhile the masala has cooked take curd in a bowl add chicken masala and mix both together well. Keep aside. Now the masala has cooked and oil comes on top add the boil karhal pieces

* Step 5

Mix gently add the curd paste and m8x well.cook on high flame for 2 minutes then add 1/2 cup of water. Cover and cook on low to medium flame for 5-7 minutes.

* Step 6

Remove the lid and cook it on high flame for 3-4 minutes keep stirring. Add coriander leaves m8x turn off the flame. Served this sabzi with chapati or naan
