Butter naan

#RCB Soft and fluffy homemade Naan is truly delicious and everyone liked it.

Ingredient

1 tsp

dry yeast

1 tsp

sugar

1 tsp

salt

1/2 cup

curd

1/4 cup

butter

as required

Water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a bowl take 1/2 cup of lukewarm water. add sugar and dissolve it. add the yeast and mix it. cover and keep aside for ten minutes to activate

In a mixing bowl take flour, add salt, and curd and activate the yeast.mix well and add water as required to make a soft dough. knead the dough by applying little butter for ten minutes and while kneading apply 2 tsp butter. cover and keep the dough for two hours.

* Step 3

When the dough is ready. knead again to remove the air inside the dough. make medium size balls bigger than regular roti sizes. prepare all the balls cover and keep them aside for five minutes. take one ball and roll it on the rolling board. apply little butter on the rolled naan and sprinkle sesame seeds and Coriander leaves. Press lightly with a rolling pin.

* Step 4

Heat a non-stick pan on medium flame. put the naan on tawa. bake one side for 1 minute then turn it. Bake both sides very well until the golden marks appear. transfer it to a plate and apply butter on it serve hot with any paneer gravy or non-vegetable.
