Honey Oat Loaf

This recipe is for a mini loaf, so if you are making a full large loaf double the recipe. This bread is flavorful and perfect for savory and sweet toppings!

Ingredient

Food ration :

20 g

oats

10 g

butter

3/4 teaspoon

yeast

3/4 cup

warm water

1 tbsp

honey

1/2 teaspoon

cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon

salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix the wet ingredients, the flavorings and the oats in a bowl

* Step 2

Slowly add in the flour, kneading with a spatula or wooden spoon.

* Step 3

Start to knead with your hands, be careful, it will be sticky. Don’t add extra flour, the oats will absorb the liquid and make it more firm.

* Step 4

Put back in the bowl and let it proof with a damp cloth on top for 20mins.

* Step 5

After 20 mins, punch the dough and knead it for one minute.

* Step 6

Let it rise in your loaf tin for 20 more minutes.

* Step 7

Bake it in a preheated oven at 350f or 170c for 25 minutes.

Once baked, let it rest for an hour and enjoy!
