Sattu ki kachori

#goldenapron3 #week25 #kachori Sattu ki kachori is an all time favourite tea time snack.Here I used whole wheat flour instead of maida.,and in stuffing I used chana sattu with lots of spices.

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 persons

Cooking time :

50 minutes.
4 tbsp

oil/ghee

1 tbsp

salt

1 pieces

ginger

3-4 cloves

garlic

1/2

lemon

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix flour, ghee /oil and salt to make a semi hard dough after adding some water.Cover and keep aside for 10 minutes.

Chopped onion, green chillies, garlic and ginger.

* Step 3

In a bowl take sattu, add chopped veggies and all powdered spices. Add 1 tsp mustard oil and lemon juice also.

Mix all to crumble, keep aside.

* Step 5

Now divide the wheat flour dough into 8 equall portions,flatten each portion and stuff 2 tbsp sattu stuffing into it. Moist the edges with water and seal the edges to give the shape of kachori.

Prepare all like this.

Heat oil on medium flame, when warm add 4 kachoris to the oil. Fry on low flame. After 10 minutes flip the kachoris and fry on another side till golden.

Kachoris are ready, take out and serve hot.
