Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Firstly blanch palak, transfer it in ice cold water, keep aside for 1/2 hr. Now grind it along with 3 green chilli to a fine puree, keep aside.
* Step 2
Take a deep bottom pan, add good amount of water, 1 tsp salt & 1 tsp oil, boil it. Add strained rice, cook it upto 90% cooked. Turn off the flame, strain it, put it under running water for 30 sec. Keep aside in the colander only, let the water be removed completely. Take out in a bowl, keep aside.
* Step 3
Now take a wok, add oil, heat it. In goes whole garam masala, saute it for 30 sec.
* Step 4
Add zeera now, let it splutter. In goes onion, stir fry it until light brown.
* Step 5
Now add ginger garlic, saute it until rawness is released. Add tomato & salt, mix it well.
* Step 6
In goes palak puree, mix it well. Cook it for 2 minutes.
* Step 7
Add haldi powder, dhania powder, red chilli powder & garam masala powder, mix it well.
* Step 8
In goes matar dana, stir fry it for a minute. Add desi ghee now, mix it well.
* Step 9
In goes rice now, stir fry it for 2 minutes. Add slitted green chilli, mix it well.
* Step 10
Turn off the flame, take out in a bowl. Plate it, can be served along with any main course meal.
