Dal pakwan shots ..baked pakwan as tacos..A little twist to the authentic recipe.. .

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
For pakwaan,
Knead a soft dough with 2 cups maida+1/2 tsp ajwain + 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper +salt as per taste + 2-3 Tbsp oil. Keep it aside covered for few minutes.
Roll the dough into chapatis size, cut into triangles.. You can either fry after pricking or bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 10-12minutes..
* Step 2
1 cup mix dal,Pressure cooked with a tsp salt, 1/2 tsp turmeric and little grated ginger.
✔Heat a tbsp ghee in a pan.Crackle mustard seeds,jeera, hing. Add 1/2 cup chopped onions and saute till pink. Add chopped green chillies and chopped tomato. Cook a while, add red chilli powder as per your taste. Mix in dal and add chopped coriander.
* Step 3
Serve dal pakwaan with chopped onions,coriander and chat masala.
