Bengali Urad Dal (Biulir Dal)

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and soak the urad dal for 2 hours.
* Step 2
After 2 hours, pressure cook the urad dal and keep aside.
* Step 3
Now take a pan and heat oil.
* Step 4
Once the oil is hot add the fennel seeds and dry red chillies.
* Step 5
Once the fennel seeds splutters add the cooked urad dal to the pan and simmer for 10 minutes.
* Step 6
Now add salt, little sugar, ginger paste, fennel powder, mix well and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
* Step 7
Once done remove from stove and serve with steamed white rice.
