Curry Leaf Fish Curry

Curry leaves have high medicinal value and their enticing flavour makes this fish curry extremely healthy and tasty too. Here's presenting an authentic Assamese fish curry made with curry leaves puree which is a delectable dish to enjoy during winters.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Smear the rohu fish pieces with salt and turmeric. Heat mustard oil in a pan and fry the fish pieces. Keep aside.
* Step 2
In the same pan add the crushed garlic. Saute it till it is brown in colour. Now add some mashed boiled potatoes. Once the potatoes are a little cooked add turmeric order and salt and crushed pepper as per taste. Now add the curry leaf puree and cook for some time till it starts to boil.
* Step 3
Now add the rohu fish pieces to the curry along with some water.
Cover with a lid and simmer for 5 more minutes till the fish and curry are nicely cooked.
* Step 4
Remove from stove, garnish with ginger jullienes and serve hot with steamed white rice.
