Being a lahori I love "halwa puri" as a weekend breakfast or brunch.ย Poori is a popular deep fried flatbread thatโ€™s served for breakfast across Pakistan and India.I used wheat flour with plain flour for poori.

Ingredient

Food ration :

2-3 servings

Cooking time :

5 minutes
1,1/2 cup

plain flour

1/2 cup

wheat flour

2 tbs

ghee

1/2 tsp

salt

2 tbs

milk

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Seive flour

Add salt ghee milk and knead with warm water for 5 minutes

* Step 3

Grease with oil/ghee and cover with cling (I used bread packet) rest for an hour

Heat oil in a wok.Oil must be hot for frying

* Step 5

Make small balls and dust some flour roll out a flat bread dont roll so thin

Fry all the pooris like this press a little flip and take it out.transfer to a strainer.
