Its plum of my mother's eyeπŸ˜‚ yes she always demands me specially in ramadan for this scrumptious and finger licking chutneyπŸ˜‹so made for her and she loved it as alwaysπŸ˜‡ my family loves to have with fries pakora and samosa at iftarπŸ˜‹

Ingredient

Food ration :

4-5 servings

Cooking time :

30 minutes
250 grams

dried plum

2 cup

sugar

2 cup

water

1/2 tsp

salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soak plums in 2 cups of water for 30 minutes

In a sauce pan,add plum with its soaked water & cook on low-medium flame.

Then add salt,red chilli powder,sugar and red color then cook on high flame till water starts to boil

Add cardamom powder After water to starts to boil, cook till sugar syrup becomes thick on low-medium flame.

* Step 5

Add vinegar cook for 2 minutes and turn off the flame add melon seeds then keep the syrup to cool down at a room temperature.

Store in a airtight jar and refrigerate it can be use upto 3-4 weeks.

Garnish with silver paper almonds and pistachios and serve
