Honey chilli garlic potatoes
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Recipe
For wedges
Clean and wash 6-7 large potatoes Peel them Slice them in wedges Parboil in hot water containing salt till one boil
Then on a slow flame heat for 5 mins till starch is removed and potatoes are partially cooked Remove in a sieve
Let all water drain out Remove in a plate Sprinkle salt and pepper Coat them with 2 tbsps of Plain flour,Rice flour,Cornflour
Let it rest for 15-20 minutes
Deep fry in oil
Keep aside
* Step 2
For sauce
In a bowl add
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
2 tbsp red chilli sauce
1 tbsp schezuan sauce
1 tsp vinegar
1 tsp soya sauce
5-6 tbsp water
* Step 3
For slurry
In a bowl mix 2 tbsp cornflour
2 tbsp plain flour
Water
Make a thick paste
* Step 4
Veggies
Slice 1 onion
1/2 capsicum
6-7 finely chopped garlic
3-4 vertically slit green chillies
* Step 5
In a pan heat 2 tsp olive oil
Add the finely chopped garlic
3 teaspoons of sesame seeds
Once they crackle add onions, capsicum
Crunchiness should be retained
Add the prepared sauce
Add the slurry
Add salt,pepper
Add the fried potato wedges
Add 2 tbsp honey
