Veg seekh kabab

Ingredient

Food ration :

3-4 people

Cooking time :

30-35 minutes+ soaking time
1/2 cup

chana dal

1/2 cup

sabut masoor

1 inch

ginger

as per taste

Salt

1 tablespoon

coriander powder

1/2 cup

bread crumbs

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soak all dals for 6-8 hours or overnight. Then boil them with garlic, ginger and green chilli until it becomes soft and tender. Keep aside.

* Step 2

When this mixture comes in room temperature then strain it with the help of a strainer. Keep the remaining water aside and soak soya granuals in this water and cover for 5-7 minutes.

* Step 3

Churn this dal mixture with the help of very little water. Transfer this mixture into a large bowl. Then add all masala.

* Step 4

Squeeze extra water in soya granuals and mix nicely. After that add all remaining ingredients and mix well. Now you can add fresh coriander leaves (optional). Keep this mixture in fridge for 7-10 minutes. This will help you to make your seekh properly.

* Step 5

Now take sathe stick skewers. Grease them with oil. Then take kabab mixture and make seekh. Cook on non-stick pan with oil on each side on low to medium flame. Serve with mint chutney and fresh salad. You can grill your seekh also.

* Step 6

This is super healthy and tasty snack. You can add all your favourite vegetables also in winters. They will enhance its taste.😋
