Mawa burfi recipe I khoya burfi recipe
simple mouth-watering burfi recipe made with milk solids, sugar and dry fruits. it is an easy and quick dessert recipe as it does not have any fancy ingredients list like any other classical indian desserts. the recipe is very similar to the other milk-based desserts but still has a unique flavour, taste and texture.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
1. firstly, grate 250 grams khoya. you can use fresh homemade khoya or store brought ones.
* Step 2
2. transfer the grated mawa to a large kadai.
* Step 3
3. also add 100 grams sugar and mix well.
* Step 4
4. cooking on low flame keep stirring uniformly.
* Step 5
5. the khoya and sugar start to melt.
* Step 6
6. mash smooth making sure to get a uniform texture.
* Step 7
7. continue to cook keeping the flame on low until the mixture thickens.
* Step 8
8. after 20 minutes, the mixture starts to separate the pan.
* Step 9
9. now add 1/2 tsp cardamom powder and mix well
* Step 10
10. transfer the prepared mixture into a greased mould lined with baking paper (size: 6 inch x 3 inch) or plate. set well forming a block.
* Step 11
11. top with almond and pat gently.
* Step 12
12. allow setting for 3 hours. you can alternatively refrigerate for 30 minutes.
* Step 13
13. now unmould and cut into pieces.
* Step 14
14. finally, serve khoye ki burfi or store in an airtight container for a week in the refrigerator.
