Cooking instructions
* Step 2
In a suitable pot, pour 8 cups of water and add the chicken
* Step 3
When boiled, remove the foam that appears on the surface
* Step 4
Add the spices, mentioned above
* Step 7
Keep on low heat for 40 mins
* Step 8
Put the Moghrabiyeh in a aluminium strainer (same size as the chicken pot) above the chicken pot
* Step 9
Keep it for 15 mins while stirring continuously using a fork
* Step 10
Remove the Moghrabiyeh from the strainer and put in another pot, add the ghee, and salt, keeping on a low heat for 15 mins
* Step 11
Pour above some chicken broth and stir continuously until it’s tender
* Step 12
Add spices (caraway and cinnamon powder) and mix well
* Step 13
Remove the chicken and separate from the bones, then chop into medium size pieces.
* Step 14
Transfer the Moghrabiyeh to a serving dish, place the chicken pieces, onion, and chickpeas.
* Step 16
Served with chicken-chickpeas and onion
* Step 18
Pour a suitable quantity of broth (has some chickpeas and onions)
* Step 19
Keep on stove until well consist.
